And this one time, in Egypt... I just spent a week with my father in Egypt...oh my gosh, I had the time of my LIFE.  It was absolutely unbelievable.  The expression "words are not enough" does not BEGIN to cover it.  Even pictures cannot do the trip justice. But they can try. And thus begins the Egypt Series.  These photos represent/will represent an insanely small percentage of all the ones we took.  I would hate to crash dA's servers with all of them. Egypt is amazing.

Mid-April 2006...yeah, it's about three years since I was finally diagnosed with epilepsy.  I'm glad I don't know the exact date, to be perfectly honest.  It's not exactly a happy anniversary. I don't really know how to feel about it all, or if I should be feeling anything at all.  Sometimes I wish I could take pictures of my neuro-synapses so I could then rip the photos to shreds and throw them away forever.  Then again, they would probably be really nifty-looking photos, so I would most likely scan and save them anyway. Q:  What do you get when you cross epilepsy and lettuce? A:  Seizure salad. Seize the day!
